Cheese Burger Pies

These little cheeseburger snacks are delicious and way too easy to make! They are ideal for snacks and lunches with vegetables. We eat them both as snacks and whole meals with side dishes at home.

If you have tried this recipe or any other recipe on my blog, please don’t forget to rate the recipe and let me know how you got on in the comments below. I love hearing from you! You can also follow me on PinterestInstagramFacebook, and YouTube to see what I am getting up to.

You will need:

  • 2 packs of pie dough (puff pastry or pizza dough)
  • ground beef
  • salt and pepper
  • oil
  • chopped onions
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • sweet mustard
  • ketchup
  • egg wash

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 °C.
  2. Fry the beef on a pan with a little oil, salt, and pepper. Take it off the pan when done.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a flat surface; cut it using a cookie cutter or use a knife.
  4. On one of the two dough comes half a teaspoon of sweet mustard and then 1 teaspoon ketchup on top of them all.
  5. Now spread a few tablespoons of beef on top, but make sure the portions do not fill more (they should fit the cutter you will need).
  6. Come onions and cheddar on top of them all.
  7. Lay another piece of puff pastry over the top and seal it with the tip of a fork.
  8. Transfer them to a baking tray with baking paper and brush them with egg wash.
  9. Bake in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes.

These cheeseburger pies can be enjoyed both hot and cold, and they can easily freeze in the freezer.
